Picking up Your DL389
Since our office is run by only a few people and much of what we do is remote, it does not have regular hours and is NOT open to the public, so pick up is available ONLY BY APPOINTMENT at our office on Treasure Island.
Since certificates usually go in the mail within a few days after your class ends, please let us know by the Wednesday after your class ends if you would like to pick up so we can be sure to put your certificate aside.
If you do not let us know by Wednesday you will have to wait until the next weekend or have us put it in the mail. We send the certificate by regular snail mail and are not allowed to issued a replacement, so if your certificate goes in the mail we do not have any way to track or predict when it will arrive or to issue a replacement.
Unless there is a major holiday, appointments for pick up are available the next Saturday or Sunday at 1pm. Please do not come early or late, since this time is set aside just for pick up, and we might not be available before or after 1pm.
We try very hard to be as helpful as possible, and so occasionally when Moto Guild is not busy we might be able to accommodate student that comes early or late, but since but there is no way to know ahead of time how busy it will be, there is no guarantee we will be able to accommodate you just because your friend was able to come early or late with no problem at some other time.
We will need to verify your ID. It MUST be the one you brought to your class, and the certificate may only be picked up by the student that took the class, even if they did not pay for it and/or are a minor.
We will also need to collect a new waiver. If you are a minor, your parent/guardian must come with you so we may get a new waiver signed by them.

Due to construction on Treasure Island the best way to find us is to use GPS. Unless you are calling for directions, do NOT contact Moto Guild; we only share space with them and they cannot help with the certificate.
Please enter at the FRONT door
Do NOT go to the side/back entrance, since motorcycles enter and exit from that door. Since we may be helping another student, please wait inside near the FRONT DOOR instead of looking for us at the other door.
